John Stackhouse has a very good piece on LinkedIn today summarizing a discussion with Steve Verheul, former Canadian trade negotiator. It sets out, in a very clear way, some of what is likely to transpire from the Trump tariff chaos. Our political leadership would do well to reflect on Verheul’s advice.
